HEADS talk @ Modeling Symposium at EclipseCon Europe
HEADS talk related to Modeling with HEADS and HEADS IDE has been accepted at the Modeling Symposium at EclipseCon Europe, which will be held in Ludwigsburg, Germany, on November 4, 2015.The talk will last 10 minutes between 11:15 and 11:50 (along with two other 10-minute talks). The abstract of the talk "Modeling Things for IoT" can be found below:
"In IoT all kind of devices, tiny to large, are modeled as 'things' with ThingML. ThingMl describes the things on an abstract level and generates platform specific code. A models@runtime approach is the paradigm of Kevoree, which is used to deploy and manage the generated components for heterogeneous and distributed services. The modeling includes messaging between devices, state machines, and complex event processing beside other features.
This modelling approach is the topic of the research project Heterogeneous and Distributed Services for the Future Computing Continuum (HEADS). The heterogeneous and distributed services involve a wide range of devices from large cloud services to small and tiny platforms like Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
This project is partially funded by the European Commission under the Seventh (FP7 - 2007-2013) Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development."
